Basket filter will permite the straining & filtering of a wide variety of fluid,to retain solids of almost any size.All basket are easily removable & cleanable.Basket filter alements can be offered in single cylinder,double cylinder,multi cylinder and pleated design depending upon requirements of applications. They are constructed of filter housing,filter elements supported with perforated cage,positive sealing arrangements to avoid any bypass.

Operation:

When filter medium pass through basket filter solid particle are retanded in basket filter.While the clean medium pass the basket filter and expel from outlet.When cleaning,turn on plug screw in the bottom,then discharge fluid,remove flange cover, after clean,reinstall it.Basket filter are normally supplied with spring rrangement at the top of filter elements.This will ensure any type of bypassing & confirm position of basket.Even in case of reverse flow,fluid bypass arround the basket is prevented by an optional 'O'ring seal between the basket rim and the housing inside diameter.
